Regional Meets

July 10, 2022 * Upper Northeast Regional Meet * Endicott Estate, Dedham, MA * The meet will be held in conjunction with the annual Bay State Antique Auto Club (http://www.bsaac.com) at the Endicott Estate in Dedham, MA. All CVA members are welcome with or without a car. This is a rain or shine event and the CVA will have its own reserved section. Lots of parts vendors as well as food available. October 7 & 8 – Lower Midwest Regional Meet – Salina, Kansas - The 2022 Lower Midwest Regional Meet (LMRM) will be held in Salina, KS on October 6 – 9. 2022.  The host hotel will be the Holiday Inn, 3145 S. 9th Street, Salina, Kansas 67401 where a block of rooms has been reserved until September 20, 2022.  The phone number is 785-404-6767.  In order to receive the special rate, be sure to identify yourself as a Crown Victoria Association (CVA) member when making reservations.  The special room rate will be $109.00 for either a king or double queen plus tax.  Breakfast vouchers can be purchased for each guest at $7.00.  A Thursday night buffet and the traditional banquet on Saturday night will be held at the Holiday Inn.  Activities will include a visit to the Garage, which is the new car museum in Salina, and visits to Lindsborg, Kansas, known as little Sweden USA. November 5, Saturday, 10am - 2pm+ - Stevensville, Maryland - Historic Stevensville Classic Car & Truck Show with dash plaques, goodie bags, door prizes, 30+ trophies for registrants.  No thru traffic; 100 vintage cars park in the middle of Historic Stevensville.  Food and music.  CVA cars get a CVA item and will park at Historic 1902 Stevensville Train Station, which was used by Annie Oakley in 1908 and 1912 going to nearby Love Point performances.  The entire town of Stevensville is on the National Register of Historic Places.  Five historic sites open with docents in periods garb -- free nearby by walking tours of Historic Christ Church, the Old Bank, the Old Post Office, the Cray House, and the 1902 Train Station with Old Caboose. $20 classic car registration. Public free, all are eligible for prizes for kids and adults in period colonial garb.  Drew Jeffries (deceased) and I did regional meets together for a decade and we had planned to do this in 2022 so I am going ahead with it.   Paul Placek This email address is being protected from spambots.
